Why only one question
An endless feed makes you keep deciding what is worth reading. One question a day does not. Everyone gets the same one, it changes at midnight Vietnam time, and when the day is over it is over.
Missing today costs nothing. There is no streak to protect, no notification nagging you, nothing to catch up on. Tomorrow is a different question.
Nothing to scroll forever. Answer, and you can close the app.
Why you answer first
If you could read everyone else first, you would write something that fits in with them. Everyone would. So today’s feed stays locked until you have written your own answer.
That is the whole mechanic, and it is why the answers in the app read differently from comment sections elsewhere.
How anonymous it actually is
The app has no sign-in screen. It never asks for an email, a phone number, or a real name. The only thing stored about you is an anonymous identifier, so you cannot answer twice in the same day.
Every answer goes through automated moderation before anyone sees it. You can also report any answer, hide a post from your own feed, block a user outright, or delete your own answers whenever you want.
Reports are reviewed and acted on within 24 hours. The detail is in the Terms of Service.

- Yes. Honest Answers Daily is free on the App Store.
- Do I need an account?
- No. The app has no sign-in screen and never asks for your email, phone number, or real name.
- Can anyone tell which answer is mine?
- No. Answers are shown publicly but are not tied to your real identity. The app keeps only an anonymous identifier so you cannot answer twice in one day.
- When does the question change?
- At exactly midnight Vietnam time, every day. Everyone receives the same question.
- Is the content moderated?
- Yes. Every answer goes through an automated moderation service before it is shown publicly. You can also report any answer, and reports are acted on within 24 hours.
- Can I delete my own answer?
- Yes, at any time. You can also hide a post from your own feed or block a user entirely.
- What about answers in another language?
- The app translates in place. One tap reads a Vietnamese answer in English, and the other way round.
- Is it on Android?
- Not yet. Honest Answers Daily is currently iPhone and iPad only, and needs iOS 15.0 or later.
